Gmail job discovery
Connect Gmail with read-only access. CareerOS searches recent job-alert messages and never sends, deletes, archives or modifies your mail.
CareerOS requests only gmail.readonly. It searches recent messages from known job providers and job-alert subject patterns, then sends extracted listings through the same dedupe and fit-scoring pipeline as other CareerOS sources.
Manual job-alert import
You can still paste the full email body or upload an exported/forwarded .eml, .html or .txt alert. CareerOS can extract several job listings from one message.

Gmail access is optional and read-only. Disconnecting removes CareerOS's stored Gmail connection token but does not affect your Google account or CareerOS sign-in.
